I have no idea where I want to go to school. Everyone says "go with your gut" but I do get that "gushy feeling" at both Tufts and Barnard.
They're very different. I like them for different reasons.
Barnard has the amazingly close proximity to the chic NYC areas, awesome interning opportunities, a great pre-med program geared for women and, of course, ties to one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
Tufts has the Boston liberal-arts look, a beautiful campus, a real on campus life (unlike Barnard, where the students of course venture out into the city for fun), a great pre-med program as well and, I hate to say this, boys in the dorms. I was kind of looking forward to the co-ed dorm experience.
I am not convinced one school is any better than the other, academically. I found that the Barnard students I met seemed more worldly, the the student body was far more diverse however, the Tufts students were nicer and warmer.
I don't know what to do. I've overnighted both places and if anything I'm even more confused. Any thoughts?
