Help!

I'm in need of advice and help!!!!

I'm currently a freshman at a Community College. Going into my spring semester I realized how poorly I am doing in my Chemistry Class, but however it was kinda too late to drop the class with a W. Therefore, I have to stick with the class. Currently standing at a C as of right now. I talked to my professor and he said that I should get a D then retake the course again instead of getting a C. My major is Biology and I hope to transfer to UCLA. What should I do? SHould i just keep my C or should I get a D in the class so that I can retake the course again? My Gpa is currently 3.2. Does retaking a course looks better than getting a C or vice versa? PLEASE HELP ME!!

i doubt you would get into ucla bio with a 3.2, but id say go with the C rather than D+retake.

Which chemistry class is it? General Chemistry I’m assuming?

UC’s usually only count the better grade if you retake. But keep in mind, a lot of graduate schools like law schools will average both so retaking does not help as much.

Yeah it’s General CHemistry…

If grad school is not your aim then take the D and retake the class. If it is just take the C in the class and do better in the rest of the pre-reqs.
