Help

Okay so here are my stats..
GPA: 3.62 @ a public magnet school
we do NOT rank
ACT: 29 and 30 subscored
I'm retaking in september of course.
SAT: 1880.. idk if I'll actually use/retake the SAT

I have a ton of ECS.

I'm looking for schools with great financial aid, diversity race wise, and that are not in the north because I can't stand cold weather.

Nashville winters I can tolerate, but colder I wouldn't be able to handle.

so far I've looked at
GWU
Baylor
Sewanee
Rhodes
Oxford/Emory

suggestions? please and thank you!

Do you want need-based financial aid (Which will probably only be “great” if your parents make like less than 50k)

Or merit based? With your stats you will unlikely get a top-notch school and earn a bunch of merit-aid. Your stats aren’t bad, it’s just to make “great” merit scholarships at schools you often have to be in the top 1 - 5% of their student body.

need base, my parents make 55k a year…

any suggestions?

koreanxpanda,

You should take a look at the information in the Financial Aid Forum. There are some good links there for you.
