Help?

Freshman year I had all A's first semester and second semester I had mostly B's. I had a 3.6 unweighted GPA overall. Sophomore year I had A's all year except two steady B's. I had a 3.7 unweighted GPA overall. This year I have A's across the board, and am looking to have a 4.0 unweighted GPA overall. Do you think they will look at my freshman year very closely even though I am doing better now?

I got very sick the second semester of my freshman year- so sick I couldn't go back to school junior year and had to take school through an online program. It kept getting worse. This is what I'm writing about in my essay.

Thanks in advance.

Some schools don’t look at freshman grades at all. Most weigh them less than sophomore and junior grades-an upward trend is just fine. And you have a very legitimate reason for a dip in your grades at the end of freshman year. Since you will be explaining your circumstances in your essays, you shouldn’t worry about it.
