Help!

so I have 6 AP’s my senior year, one of which is spanish 4 AP. now, i have a deep hatred for the class, and the teacher is extremely condescending, and there is no way I can get higher than a C in the class. I want to drop it, but what should I take instead? I have the options of Teacher’s Aid (i was one junior year), anatomy, or physcology (the last 2 would bring down my GPA). Please help me.

I think the fact that you are signed up for six AP's would allow you to drop one, and still look as if you are not slacking off. Can you take spanish 4 without it being an AP? It would be better to have four years of a FL. You don't have to worry too much about the gpa since they won't see it. They will see what you signed up for in senior year and you want it to be challenging. They will also see your mid-year senior transcript, but getting a B in anatomy/phychology for first semester senior year probably wouldn't be a problem.

by bringing down my GPA, meant that they were not weighted, i can get A's in all the other choices. I would take a normal spanish, but the same teacher teaches that too, its a combined normal and AP class thing, and there are few people in that class, i guess everyone is intimidated by the teacher and class. I really want to attend one of the upper UC's, so far my UC GPA would be 4.6 or higher or something, and I've taken the toughest course load available, so this year would be the onyl year i would be thinking about not taking THE TOUGHEST, although 5 AP's is still quite tough. anymore imput would be nice.

I dont think dropping spanish would hurt you much. You will still have 5 APs. The UCs dont count your GPA in senior year anyways. With a 4.6 GPA, you are looking great for the top UCs!

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
