<p>I will be a freshman this fall at Emory University. I am interested in both law and business. How would I go about getting an internship for the summer 2011? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.</p>
<p>As soon you start at Emory, learn as much about Emory’s Career Office and take advantage of the resources there. You shall attend the first career fair, which usually held sometime in September or October. Also check job posting for internship positions and then apply. The key is be flexible, cast a wide net (especially in geographic locations), and be proactive.</p>
<p>Be diligent and consistent with your internship search. Trust me, you’ll find one eventually. Go out there and look for it.</p>
<p>You’re off to a great start – internships are already on your mind and you haven’t even begun your freshman year. Start with the career center.</p>
