Help?

<p>Hi.
I am a junior and I go to this small christian school in oklahoma.
we have like 80 kids per grade and all they care about is football and stuff.
our clubs are not active at all.</p>

<p>coming from a college-prep boarding school, this school seems kinda bizarre.
they used to have a student newspaper but i guess they don't have it anymore.
I am trying to start up the newspaper again.
I regularly publish my article on this newspaper website and I am planning to major in journalism.
but teachers are reluctant to support me and since this is my first year here, i barely know anyone. I don't think people will participate and stuff.</p>

<p>SO HELP ME.
how can I effectively set up the school newspaper?</p>

<p>p.s. It will def look good on college application, right?</p>

<p>I would recommend talking to the school administration to see if they can maybe suggest a teacher for you to talk to. I would also talk with other students who might be interested in working on it</p>

<p>it’s just that school administration has recommended like 3 teachers but all of them said they were too busy and stuff. and the other teacher said he will think about it for a week but i don’t think he’s gonna say yes :frowning:
