For anyone who would like to know their chances... this website is VERY helpful I believe: www.collegedata.com All you have to do is make an account. Then type in whatever college you plan to apply to. They tell you the average SATs/ACTs of those accepted. Plus, if you enter in your information, they have a thing that tells you your chances of the school (Reach, Maybe, Good Bet). Also, there is something called an Admissions Tracker. Other people (like yourself) can enter in their stats and then say whether they got accepted or rejected from whatever school you are looking into. People shouldn't lie because it's anonymous... There's no way of tracing it back to people with standard user names such as k83si0. I use it a lot and I find it really useful! Sorry if you already know about this.

cool ill try

Nice find.

that site just made me feel a lot better, but i don't think it's too accurate and it's a lot kinder than people on cc or college admissions officers

Yeah, I agree. It's always better to have a person tell you than a machine. Experience tends to be more reliable than data.

I do like the admission tracker thing though.

Interesting website. Some of the features seem like they could be really useful. I also agree about the chances calculator not being too accurate. It said that Johns Hopkins is a "good bet" for me, yet Rensselaer, Lehigh, and Bucknell are all "maybe."

Haha well, nothing is perfect... Besides, different colleges have acceptions anyway.

bump this thread please
