<p>Major irrelevant, you are admitted to the university as a whole. Your SAT/gpa stats give you a 50% chance per UW chances chart. You can't get in if you don't apply, it is worth your while to try.</p>

<p>I would say boarderline for sure.</p>

<p>But you truly must apply, my friend was told by our guidance counselor last year to not even apply (very similar stats to yours). However, she did apply, was accepted, and is going to attend next fall. (BTW Madison is her dream school)</p>

i'm hoping that being from new jersey will help me, maybe.
i just stumbled upon wisconsin & fell in love with the idea of going to madison.
now its one of my top choices.
so i'm crossing my fingers :] </p>
