HELPP!!! Deciding between BU/PSU-Jefferson/Brown Plme

Hey all,

I've been admitted to the BU's 7-year BA/MD program, Penn State's 6-year BA/MD program and the Brown Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME) eight year program.

Anyone have any thoughts about which one is better, or rather just some of the advantages and disadvantages of each program? I have no idea which one I am leaning towards and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Brown is the obvious choice (if you can afford it).

Brown seems to me to be by far the best choice (if you can afford it).

What if I would have to take out ~150k in loans? Any ideas taking that into account?

Sorry for the double post.

^masteropponent, stats please?

PSU! i felt a real sense of community at the interview. and it was so laid back and everyone seemed to really enjoy the program. plus you save two years & money

Mango…are u deciding now? Are you going to Penn State?

i’m going to penn state

O cool! Did you go to the dinner before the interviews??? Maybe we know each other…haha

And if u dont mind me asking where else did u get in?

i would rank them by your interest level, then by cost

i’m sure each program had aspects that made you apply to it/love it besides the amount of money so i’d take that into account before money. obviously if brown didn’t give you a cent of financial aid, it may be unrealistic, but it also depends on what amount of time you want to spend in college (2 yrs vs 3 yrs vs 4 yrs)

it’s hard to tell you where to go simply since i’m not you, but if i had the same choices to make as you i would rank it: brown, bu, PSU/jefferson mainly by prestige

bumpppppppppppp

Go to 6 year Penn State/Jefferson program.
