<p>At the end of the day I want to be a software engineering, and I REALLY want to get into USC. Should I apply to Viterbi as a CS major or a computer engineering major? Or should I apply to dorns and transfer in????</p>

<p>Getting into any engineering degree at Viterbi is the same for all engineering majors. USC has each school admit a certain number of students. However, Viterbi can admit a wide range of students (from biomed to comp sci to electrical) or a lot of comp sci majors. This makes it easier to switch majors while you’re there.</p>
