Good to great essay
Rec from a teacher who loves me

In my WA it says "A decision will be sent in the mail." Am i really rejected? Not even at least deferred with those stats?

AP Calc B/C Exam (taken as junior): 5 (5 subscore)
AP US History Exam (taken as sophomore): 4
AP Government Exam (taken as junior): 3
AP Language & Composition Exam (taken as junior): 5

Hmm intresting, I'd be very surprised if you were flat-out rejected with a 3.4 + 34/2300, but I can't say I've heard of good things from ppl with "A decision will be sent in the mail" :/

Yeah I guess I'll appeal, but I don't understand why I'd get rejected when so many people I know are g etting deferred with literally worse stats in every category.

Would any of your teachers have secretly sent in loathing teacher recs? Could any of your essays be construed as arrogant or pompous? Because other than that, I don't know how you wouldn't get in.

call them up and make sure they have the right application + stats. i read on this board once that two ppl who have the same name apparently had their files mixed or something

maybe they're that adamant about the whole GPA thing, which would be retarded... but those stats make me nervous to apply next year. Yea if they don't accept you then college admissions is truly a crap shoot.
