helppppp. need to take off some of these schools.

ok so i'm having trouble narrowing down my list, my goal is to have 10. PLZ help!
i'm applying as an international, interested in international relations, but also political science, communication, and journalism. i have a 4.1 GPA weighted (school sorta has a different weighting scale)
i like to be in more of an urban area, but suburban is good as well. i'm ok with big college towns, want medium sized-large student population, around 1-2 public ones, work hard and play hard, and good career prep/ alumni relations?
yep that's all i can think of right now.

Pretty sure i'll be applying to these:
Georgetown
Tufts
UVA
NYU
GWU
American U (safe)
Northeastern (safe)

Ok, the maybe list, and here's where i need help eliminating colleges:
Johns Hopkins
Emory
U Mich (relatively safe or low compatible)
BU (safe)
Fordham
Lehigh

and i think i wanna keep it to 3 safe schools.

THANKS!

if you want 3 safeties then you should add BU to your final list.
I think fordham should be relatively easy for you, but i'm not 100% sure.

I think that American and Northeastern would be 2 good safe schools to stick with. As for your third, I would add BU, you seem to match up well.

thanks! but besides BU, which ones on the bottom list should i eliminate, i'm hoping to just add 3 more to my final list cuz i already have 7 for sure.. but it's hard. and i'm also thinking about University of Toronto, i don't know much about it tho, would it be safe??

I hope you don't need aid, because if you do, there are no safe schools for you in the United States, as an international.
