Hi I just sent in my common app for my early decision school....
But the problem is I didn't fill out the sat section of the common app because my guidance counselor told me it was unnecessary... But people around me are now saying that I was supposed to fill all of them out.... Please what should I do??? I need help

If you sent your scores to the college, I would not worry about it. I think most colleges ignore the self reported scores on the app anyway and take the “gospel” of the official score report instead.

If you go into the common app, click on future plans, then click on this school, it does say if the school has chosen not to have specific areas of the app even reported to them. But I would not sweat this particular omission even if the college does get it… they would need to check it against your official score reports anyway.

Thank you! well I applied to UPenn… and i checked my common app and saw that the SAT sections were not highlighted, does that mean it’s okay for me? Does that mean they don’t require me to specifically list my SAT scores? btw I already sent my scores through collegeboard

Colleges rely on the official scores being send from the College Board or the ACT. They don’t rely on scores the students list on the app, why would they? I wonder why it is there in the first place?
