<p>I would definitely say you have a shot because your in-state and you have decent sat scores…your unweighted gpa is kinda of low but if you have an amazing essay i think you should be able to get in.</p>
<p>I think your UWGPA causes you big trouble, unless you are at a magnet school that the UNC ad coms know well.</p>

<p>If you’re in NC, your hs guidance counselors should be able to give you a good idea of your chances. Does your hs have Naviance (records system of college admission info showing how students with specific GPAs/SATs fared applying to specific schools)? Even schools that don’t usually keep track of how previous students have done in the college search. You can ask your GC what he/she thinks of your chances. Are you currently a junior?</p>
