Anyone else out there attending the Henry Wells Scholarship weekend? I think it sounds like a great way to learn about the school. I hope my son falls in love with the college as it is a great school.

I may attend it. Not sure though...

I'm going! =)

Super - you will not miss my son as he is 6'5" tall. Hope to see you there! Wife and I are staying at the gorgeous Aurora Inn, so we are making it a weekend too! We really can't wait for the weekend.

Your son's staying the night in the dorms then? I am, and am really nervous about it for some reason...

Yes he is and I think he may be a bit nervous too. I think Wells will make it fun for both of you as they want you both to attend. I think you both should look forward to the weekend as it marks the beginning of your college experiences, even if you don't choose Wells.

Very nice weekend, Wells went out of their way to make it a great couple days for my son. Just picked him up from the dorm, they matched him up with an inner-city basketball player who he really got along well with. I am really impressed with Wells and how they are attracting good students. I think Wells is an up and coming school!

The education received at Wells was always highly regarded. Unfortunately they suffered with enrollment as less women chose to attend schools without the boys. I think they will recover and as an alum I am glad to hear of its revival.

I also am an alum of Wells and I can't say enough about the education I got there. I always look forward to returning to beautiful Aurora for reunion weekends.

It is really nice to hear these things. I was impressed with everything about the school during our visit. S is keeping all his options open until he hears from all the schools he applied to, but Wells is still at or near the top of his list. S also really liked the basketball coach.
