Hi
I am a low income senior in NY and I’m applying to NYU (CAS), Columbia (CC), and Cornell (CALS) through the HEOP program (which is a program for economically and academically disadvantaged students).
Numbers:
-UW GPA: 90.5%
-New SAT: 1400/1600 (680ERW+720M)
Rigor: Most rigorous: APWH, AP Eng Lit, SOC 101, PSY 101, and CRT 101 (My school does not have many APs)
Rank: School does not rank but probably around top 30% (A lot of competitive kids in my school)
Extracurriculars:
-Internship/job(4 yr)
-Debate (3 yr)
-Community service (400 hours)
-Tutoring neighbor (paid): 4 years
-Track (2 yr)
-Cross Country (1 yr)
-STEP (1 YR)
-ALOT of home responsibilities so not a lot of time to do e.c
-Student Government (1 yr)
Would I have ANY chance to get into Columbia, NYU, or Cornell through HEOP?
Thank you!
