Hi, I applied RD for NYU Poly and I got a mail that said my application was referred to HEOP. What are the qualifications of HEOP? I searched online and it says the income of a family of four can not exceed $40,000. My family makes 60,000+. Is this way of saying I'm rejected?

I think so. If it exceeds the requirements then you’re not eligible.

Bummer. Does anyone know if there’s any way for them to reconsider me for regular admission? Seems silly referring me to HEOP when I don’t even qualify for it.

If they said that you’re referred to the HEOP office without you telling them to considering you for the program, that means you didn’t get in through regular admissions… Now they are evaluating you through HEOP to see if you can get into HEOP. I requested HEOP even though I got through regular lol. If you are not financially eligible for HEOP then you can’t get in at all. ): But anyway Just apply to heop and see what happens.
