does anyone have any information on when the scholarship recipients are going to be announced??
@starsatdawn no idea. I think finalists were notified in July, so I am assuming I did not get it. But i also read that everyone is notified in August.
I don’t think just finalists were notified in July, everyone was supposed to be notified in July-- the site itself says “Applicants for the Herbert Lehman Scholarship will be notified by mail of the award decision by middle of July whether they do or do not receive a scholarship.” So they’re just extremely late.
I saw this post from 3 years ago and the last comment asking if anyone heard back is in late August. Herbert Lehman Scholarship - Other Major Scholarships and Competitions - College Confidential Forums So I guess they’re still bad with punctuality
