Just make sure you come across as really passionate for Brown. I also hope they saw that in meâŠ
I hope so. x) thank you <3 youâll be fine no matter where you go. :)

:):):):):):):):) ⊠Thanx!!!

Potterpie, I canât believe you were deferred. That just goes to show how unpredictable this whole process is. Best of luck - even if you donât get in, you seem like the kind of person who will succeed no matter what! I would trust you to be my doctor. :)

Aw! Im absolutely thrilled with my acceptance to Brown by itself I really wasnât expecting to get PLME. It was probably the combination of me not sending subject test scores and having only one medical extracurricular. That means a lot to me, thoughâthank you. Merry Christmas :)

@ potterpie:

Iâm so jealous your wait is over!! So you were accepted to Brown, just not in PLME? What is your intended major? Every day is torture until I hear from them in March/AprilâŠ

But anyway, congrats :)

Yup, Brown but deferred PLME. My letter of intent will go out soon. Cognitive neuroscience or philosophy. Weâll see what happens when I actually arrive at Brownâsome of my friends are telling me to major in philosophy and fulfill pre-med requirements on the side. haha.
I HATED WAITING. Itâs one of the reasons I applied ED, lol. I had multiple dreams about getting accepted and one dream about rejection (omg. :() and I would daydream about getting accepted⊠I had my hopes up preeeeeeeeetty high. I really tried not to think about it, it just didnât work, haha. My advice for waitingâjust focus on other things. Youâve done your part. Congrats on applying, and good luck to you and all RDers. :)

Definitely major in philosophy! Medical schools love diverse undergrad majors (according to my doctor parents). Well after I hear from Brown, Iâll let you know. Maybe we will be classmates! :)

Maybe. Is Brown your top choice?

yep! Brown, Yale, then Stanford. But itâs just so hard to predict who will get inâŠ

haha, my top choices were Brown, Yale, Dartmouth, and Stanford. Good luck!
