Hey everyone! I know some of my schools are über reaches, but there's no need to be too harsh, because I'm hard enough on myself. You can just say "no chance" and I'll get the point.

I think you have a nice spread right there and don't need any more schools. You'll have a some good choices come April. Your counselor can give the best infor about someone with your class rank and SATs from your school getting into UVA and Wm & Mary, but I think for W&M you have a good chance regardless. UVA is something that has to be assessed from the instate highschool. YOu did a nice job picking your colleges, so relax, enjoy your senior year and keep those grades up!

Despite its prestige, Washington is actually 14th (!) on my list when it comes to the hypothetical situation of being accepted to all 15. They've just sent me SO much mail, I'm not even sure the application fee will cover all the postage they've used (wasted) on me. :p

But Washington University in St. Louis is a top college. They send all kinds of stuff to people, maybe because they want to get better applicants.
College of William & Mary and University of Virginia are the two colleges that might reject your application, the rest of them will gladly take you.

(WashStL) I can see where you're coming from, but no college sent me as much as them - and I was on the mailing list of St. John's Annapolis and University of Pittsburgh (which won't mean anything unless you were too). I got an inordinately high amount of mail.
(W&M, UVA) That's an interesting viewpoint...

Might want to look at Holy Cross-very good school 1 hour from Boston. Holy Cross application deadline is January 15th. With your stats might qualify for some aid at HC.

Like 15 actually. :p The reason is I just don't have confidence in my application. I had a pretty bad sophomore year, and my GPA would be well above 4 if my first two years had been like my last two.
