Here goes nothing.

I know I probably don't have much of a chance but here's my stats, if someone could chance me I'd really appreciate it.

UnWeighted GPA: 3.91
Weighted GPA: 4.43
Rank: Top 10% (specifically, I'm about number 13-14 in my school)
SAT: 2010 (re-taking in Dec and confident I can do well over 2100 but I don't want to get my hopes up so I'll just say 2100)
ACT: 32
ECs: National Honors Society (Vice-President), National Science Honors Society, 100 hours volunteer work at Arnold Palmer Hospital, National BETA Club.
APs: Human Geo (4), World History (4), US History (4), Chemistry (5), Biology (4), Statistics (3), Lang and Comp (4), Psychology (5), American Government (4).
Others: NMSF, National Hispanic Scholar, Ventures Scholar, low-income bracket, Florida resident, big upward trend in GPA from freshman year up.

You seem fine. Feel free to put your fate into the hands of admissions officers.

Here goes what? Nothing? Sounds a lot more like something! You might want to write about what you did at Arnold Palmer Hospital and what it meant to you and what you hope to bring to Rice … or anything else that you feel good about … you sound like a good candidate – Apply!

Dude, you’re fine academically. Your scores, rank, and GPA are in their spotlight. Just make sure you write a great essay that portrays yourself dynamically.

Wow really?! Thanks guys that’s awesome!

Your scores put you in range of being accepted. Rice is a hard school to get into.

Focus on the rest of your app to make the strongest case to the Rice adcoms.

Good luck!

To be honest, OP, your SAT is low. The good news is that it looks like it’s the only thing dragging you down. Try to raise it by January, and good luck!
