I know, I know, I shouldn't get my hopes up about an Ivy League. But I've applied Early Action, so let's talk about whether or not you think I'll get in. It's really difficult to get an honest opinion at this time from anyone.

Here's a bit about me:

I go to a highly ranked public high school in a small town in upstate New York. I'm #25 out of 166 students in my graduating class, and I'm one of about 15 students in my class who are in the full IB diploma program. Unfortunately, my school barely weights advanced classes at all (APs get 1.04, IB SLs get 1.06, and IB HLs get 1.08), so plenty of my fellow IB students have worse ranks than me, as students who take all regents classes and do well are ranked above us.
Given that, my unweighted GPA is 91.4800 and my Weighted GPA is 93.9233.
My intended major is chemistry with a pre-med focus.

ACT Composite- 35
English- 35
Math-34
Science-36
Reading-36
Writing-8
( taken once)

I'm the only student in my year taking higher level biology as well as higher level chemistry

AP and IB scores:
Chemistry-5
English Lang- 5
US History- 5
IB Math Studies- 7

Extra Curriculars:
I've had lead roles in 4 school musicals, I take dance classes regularly ( I was named "Student of the Year" in 10th grade), and I've been in a modern dance company for 3 years. I've been president of the Gay Straight Alliance at my school (I'm gay) for two years and I was VP before that, and recently my school's GSA won a local award.

My essay is about the stage as the place I feel most at home, and I've been told by professionals that it's very good. For one of my supplements I wrote about how my brother's chronic illness influenced my interest in science and medicine. My letters of recommendation should be stellar (I hope!).

Connections:
My uncle was the national squash champion during his senior year at Yale, and my mother completed her post-doctoral work at Yale and worked in the medical school for a few years after. My childhood best friend's father (like a second father to me) wrote me a letter of recommendation, and he is a very high powered alumna (I believe he was named alumna of the year a few years ago).

I know my application has some flaws, but please tell me your honest opinion! What are my chances of getting into Yale? Thank you so much in advance!
