here it goes, chances RD

Well here it is:

GPA 96.78 UW, 99.15 W
Rank: 8 or 9 out of 380
SAT: Best: (1430 M/V, 700W)
SATII: Chem/Math1: 790,790 (we only need two right?)
ACT 33 composite, 12 essay

Pretty decent EC's,
submitting some artwork I have won awards w/
Recs/Essays: I guess only Duke's opinion matters.

I guess I'm posting because my confidence kinda took a blow after being deferred ED @ Cornell. I know Duke's standards are higher, but do I stand a fair chance?

You have good SAT II's and good GPA. The SAT I is fair. I'd say you have a little bit less than fair chance, only knowing that much. What AP/IB classes did you take in HS, and what scores did you make on them? Specifically, what EC's?

a lot of concentrated EC's in fine arts with awards and stuff...
other EC's are about 300 hrs of volunteer service and a few school clubs with one or two leadership roles.. also vice president of a religious youth group.

APs: total of 10 including senior year. 5 exams taken so far:
5, 4, 4, 4, 4 -lang, chem, physics, us hist, european hist.

I think my ACT is slightly better than my SATI. Will Duke consider it instead of the SAT or will they still hold it against/for me even thought my ACT is somewhat better?
