here's a fun question...

frank mccourt and lucy liu and tim robbins went to stuyvesant high school in nyc

Adam Lamberg (Gordo on Disney's TV show, 'Lizzie Mcguire') is said to be attending UC Berkeley now. This year, I believe he will be a junior, but he could be a senior, I'm not too sure.

I checked, I guess he's an English major (maybe i'll see him in a class...hahah)

<3,

Izzie Bear

The guy who came up with the I heart NY campaign (which bled into mainstream america) went to Bucknell. So did the actor who plays the dad on the gilmore girls haha. I'm sure there are other famous buisness people, I jsut can't name them off the top of my head.

Jac Chirac (I think that is the spelling, but I'm probably horribly wrong, he is the president of France) attended Tulane.

Colin Powell
Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis
Deep Throat (from watergate scandal)

okay, but I don't understand why Gordo would attend UC Berkeley. I would expect usc or ucla because what acting opportunities are up there?

he does not study acting at berkeley. he's an english major, like i said. and maybe he liked uc berkeley better than those other choices. i know i did.

<3,

Izzie Bear

soccerguy, you went to South Lakes? In what year did you graduate?

Madeline Albright (masters and PhD)
Alexander Hamilton
John Jay
Barack Obama ('83)
Teddy and F.D. Roosevelt (Columbia Law)
Ben Stein
Isaac Asimov ('39)
Langston Hughes (although he didn't graduate)
Upton Sinclair (masters)
Brian Dennehy ('60)
Art Garfunkle ('65)
Telly Savalas (TV's Kojak)
Amelia Earhart
Lou Gherig
Enrico Fermi

I'm sure anyone with even a passing interest in science/tech would have recognized more of the names than I, but these were the ones I thought most impressive--especially Kojak.

--Oh, and I think Julia Stiles and Anna Paquin are students or graduated recently.

moose: frank mccourt only taught at stuyvessant (sp?). he didn't go to school there. in fact he didn't even attend high school!

True. He only had the minimum number of years at a Christian Brothers school in Limerick.

fa sho. angela's ashes and tis are the way to go!
