Hey. I'm a junior in high school. Obviously, I've been really stressed out about the SATs and ACTs. To be totally honest, I am great "school" student, meaning that I get As in most of my classes, and I AM LARGELY INVOLVED IN EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (clubs, Student Government, etc.)
The problem is that I can't seem to achieve my goals for the SAT and ACT. I would love to apply to schools like Brandeis, NYU, and may be even Cornell, but my standardized test grades seem to bring a major downfall to my college app.
I took 2 SATs so far (March and May) and an ACT in April.
March: 1710
May: Didn't get back yet
April ACT: 23 (I did not study at all for this exam... went in there blind)

I have just a few questions about the ACT because I plan on really studying for it over the summer, and taking it in September or October.
1. How many questions am I allowed to get wrong to receive a 30 composite score?
2. Any books you might recommend?
3. Best way to prepare for exam?

Thanks so much for your help. I am really flipping out here because I'm afraid I won't get into the college of my desire.
