Here's the deal: Chance me and I'll chance back!

Hello everyone!

I'm currently a rising Texas Senior interested in medicine. I'm looking to apply to BS/MD programs, specifically ones in Texas including UT-PACT, UT-FAME, and Baylor/Baylor. I also will be applying out-of-state to other combined programs as well as elite schools and honors programs scattered around the country. (I will provide full list of colleges below!)

Like every eager CCer, I would just like to know my chances at the places I've listed, particularly the combined programs. I know admissions can be very unpredictable but an honest opinion would be appreciated! I will be happy to chance you back! (Just provide a link or a comment)

Northwestern
Rice University
Duke University

WashU
Johns Hopkins
USC (maybe)
Cornell (maybe)
Vanderbilt (maybe)

Majors: Not decided at all but most likely Chemistry/Biochem/Business with Pre-Med/Biology

After reviewing my stats, is there anything missing? How strong are my ECs and how do I match with my colleges/programs listed?

I would sincerely appreciate any feedback and opinions from you guys! Thanks so much! And I will definitely chance back if you request me to!

Bump

You have the stats and ec’s … just work on your essays and for the supplemental essays highlight your interest in specifics of the program. Also, instead of listing your accomplishments, you might want to mention what you learned from each experience and also more importantly how you have contributed to the “group” during your experience. Show passion for learning and for your desire to become a compassionate and competent physician. By the way, your list of schools is well-balanced. Good luck!

You seem to be a very strong candidate for any BS/MD program. You test scores and GPA are near perfect and you have shown tons of leadership. Many of your volunteer experiences are very unique and would be great to discuss in interviews/essays. Now all you have to do is write strong essays and prove that you are truly committed to the healthcare field. BTW could you possibly chance me?

@upstream‌ Thanks! I appreciate the advice. I 100% agree with what you had to say.

@frenchgal‌ Thanks! And I tried looking for a chance thread on your profile and couldn’t find one! Provide me a link and I will be happy to chance you!

Anyone else?

Hey guys
