My S got the official letter of accpetance to Baldwin-Wallace's Music Theater BFA today. He is so excited-we were both very impressed with the success of the program and with everyone involved in the audition experience. I am uncharacteristically speechless-thanks to everyone on CC who has added there wisdom and guidance to this board-he couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you for sharing such great news!!!!

Jacksdad,

That is terrific news! Now you can sit back and relax because you know your son has somewhere wonderful to go! That certainly takes a lot of stress off the rest of his auditions! Congratulations! :)

Bravo to Jack, and to his dad. :)

Way to go, Jack! And kudos to Jacksdad and Jacksmom and everyone else who helped along the way. Now y'all can breathe out a little and enjoy the upcoming holidays without so much pressure. That's terrific.

Congrats Jacksdad, Jack and family! Wow-How exciting!! Guess we all know what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving:) Congrats, again!!

Wow, congrats Jack's DAD and Jack and the rest of the family! That is a great way to start the audition season and to take some pressure off! Those decisions came out very early this year, as they did two years ago. Last year my D was accepted after the fall audition date, and those acceptance letters did not go out until B-W's fall semester was ending in December, although we had heard the rumors that four were being accepted out of the fall audition date. Lucky Jack to know so early! and lucky Dad! Yay!!!

Ok so I made a mistake in my desire to share our good fortune. BW's program is a BM, not BFA. Oh well, I'm just the dad.

Congratulations......What a relief. Will your S continue auditioning or is he set on BW?

Well done! Some early stress relief and validation

Nothing like an early acceptance at a great school to take the pressure off. Congratulations!

Dear JacksDad, it was lovely to meet you and your delightful son recently. I am SO happy for both of you, and can't wait to share your happy news with my D!!!

Thanks to everyone-big sigh of relief on this end. S will continue with a few more auditions but BW is very high on the list! BrownSugar-it was great meeting you as well-your daughter is a delight and should be hearing great things as well.

Congrats to Jack AND Dad...and the rest of the team behind Jack. IMHO you are never "just the Dad". Take some credit, too. You deserve it.

Congratulations! What a nice way to begin Thanksgiving week! :)

Happy news! Best of luck on the rest of your journey and to all the others beginning their audition year!

Thanks for sharing such wonderful news...you and your family must be thrilled!
We're thrilled for you! :)

Congratulations! BW offers such a wonderful program. It is so nice to read this happy news :); enjoy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations to your son, Jacksdad! GREAT news and so early in the season. You have led off the acceptances on the MT Forum this year and hopefully this is a sign of positive things to come for all of CC's members or their children.

I am going to close this thread because I have set up our annual ACCEPTANCE THREADS for the CLASS of 2008, one thread listed by member name and one by school name, both stuck at the top of the MT Forum. CC's policy is that we do not allow for separate threads on the topic or announcement of individual acceptances. I realize you had no other choice as the "group" acceptance threads for this year had not been set up yet on the MT Forum (it's early for acceptances!). So, now I have moved your announcement, along with the congratulatory messages to the new Acceptance Thread by Member name, and the discussion can continue there on all acceptances from here on out. I have added (or I should say, started) your son's name to the list on both threads, which is what members should do when they wish to announce an acceptance....add it to the stickied Acceptances by Member thread and Acceptances by School thread.

Good luck to your son and all the others this audition season!
