I’m currently a Senior in HS, but I actually just visited Drexel this past Saturday for their Scholar’s Day and they answered many of my questions, so hopefully I can help a little bit even though I’m not a student.

To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Drexel’s campus when I visited last year, but I think that’s because I didn’t go there with an open mind since it wasn’t my #1. After realizing my #1 choice may not work out, I went to Drexel excited to find out what they offered. After Saturday, I absolutely LOVED Drexel!! I wouldn’t necessarily say the campus is the prettiest on the outside because your in the city, but it’s still winter so it’s hard to tell what the campus will look like in the spring/summer, but the buildings inside are really nice!

I’m pretty sure that I saw a gym across from Drexel’s parking garage which was a good 3-4 stories high filled with all sorts of workout equipment.

All of the Drexel faculty and students were real nice, I can’t really say how the locals are.

I only really met one faculty member who was an Accounting teacher and she couldn’t be more helpful. They gave us name tags which specified our intended major, and I guess she read my nametag that said “Accounting” and she went out of her way to introduce herself to me and take interest in me too. She was very friendly, and the few Drexel sophomores that I met throughout the day couldn’t be any nicer! Class sizes though, I’m not sure about.

Additionally, all of the students and the majority of the faculty seemed to be real BIG on the 5 year/3 co-op. They felt that the 3 co-op allowed you to gain working experience and weed out what your real interests are. Also, I know for the Business program that 97.5% of the students get jobs which is great; but, they did say if the economy wasn’t so bad, that percentage would be a little bit higher.

I know I’m not a student or don’t go to this school, but I hope this helps!
