Hey all - problem here

<p>Hey guys i got a problem - the common app did not receive my payments and because of this i missed the deadline. I emailed Stanford about this problem and resolved the problem, but there is another problem : </p>

<p>I know I messed up by procrastinating but please help me ><
My timezone and common app's are different. I know I have submitted my application on 01/01/10, but it says i have submitted on 01/02/10. Stanford and my time zone match(pacific), but I guess common app's is different. Any ideas on how this works out?
here is an email i sent to stanford admissions. </p>

My name is -x- who is applying as a freshman undergraduate at Stanford. My situation is the timezone/common app. In the common app, It says that I have submitted the stanford supplement, but I could not submit the Application itself because common app has not updated their confirmation. I paid the fees the other day and received confirmation by email, but common app has not updated and I could not submit the application. I am wondering if it is OK to submit late because of this?
Also, for the stanford supplement, common app says that I have submitted the supplement on 01/02/10 when I have actually submitted it on 01/01/10 on MY timezone.(Pacific). Is it ok if this happens? Stanford and I share the same timezone and I have submitted before the deadline.</p>

I want to ensure my application be accepted if I do not reside in the Eastern time zone.</p>

<p>All application deadlines are as of 11:59pm ET on the stated deadline day. The Common Application records all dates (deadlines, form submission dates, payment dates) in Eastern Time. </p>

<p>Schools not located in the eastern time zone may choose to extend their application deadlines to the end of a deadline day in their local time zone, or may accept your documents up until the posted deadline in their local time zone (even though your submission time stamp will be recorded in Eastern Time.)</p>

<p>For example, a school located in California may accept your application until 2:59am Eastern Time, which is equivalent to 11:59pm Pacific Time. Since this is on a school-by-school basis and this is not information that may not be available to you, we recommend you submit based on the Eastern Time deadline. Most colleges will accept the submission if it is within a reasonable time period around their deadline.

<p>What is a reasonable time period around their deadline? A few minutes, a few hours, less than a day?</p>
