<p>hey guys chance me quickly with my basic stats please</p>

<p>gender: male
Race: Indian
school: large public school in NJ
rank: school does not rank , but i shouldve been in top 10%
GPA: heres the killer... 3.4UW/ 3.8W (i did some lazy work in some clases but took challenging courses) junior year gpa is like 3.7/ 4.1</p>

<p>SAT:
M: 740
CR: 780
W: 720
Total: 2240</p>

<p>Subject tests:
Chem: 780
Bio: 740
Math II: should be 760ish</p>

<p>AP's:
CHem: 4
Bio: 5
Macroeconomics: 5
Microeconomics: 4
Planning to take Stat, Psych, French, art history this year</p>

<p>EC's:
Nothing too great but...
did research on drugs with local university professor
over 300 hours of volunteering at local hospital
on cross country, winter track, and spring track teams
historian of French Honor Society
AP Scholar with honor
some other science olympiads and other basic stuff...</p>

<p>I want to be a biology major with a pre-med track</p>

<p>I don’t see it happening with your GPA. You are completely unhooked and your scores/ECs arent fantastic. You can apply to Cornell, NW and JHU if you want, but it looks unlikely. ou have a shot at all the others except I’d consider Emory more of a reach.</p>

<p>you might want to improve your E/C’s maybe by a little bit, but that GPA is killing you. your test scores are decent and definitely good enough for the schools you mentioned, but still, you’re gonna have to somehow improve your grades. make sure you get like straight A’s your 1st semester senior year since that’s all you have left as a last impression.</p>

<p>Cornell, Northwestern, JHU - reaches
I’m not sure about the other colleges you mentioned, but
Emory - low to mid reach
Wash U - reach</p>

<p>The fact you are an Indian from NJ will work against you. Still you have a good chance at JHU and Northwestern, possbiluy better than at Cornell. </p>

<p>Emory would be a high match.</p>
