I was talking to somebody about my chances, he said that i have many things against me like.. being International student, selecting a popular major like COE, low Critical Reading score.

So what do you think my chances are?

since you are out of state (way out of state) i think berkeley is a reach.
the biggest hurt is your SAT by far.
You could have more ECs but I would say a reach.
i dont nkow anything about GT

if you know anything about any other schools give me a shot please

The average SAT score for cal was around 2050 or so this past year. But since you are OOS, I'm sure it has to be higher

International student applying to a competitive major like CSE at Berkeley = big reach.

Visit the site Uchance.com - Home If you enter in your GPA and SAT it will give you your statistical chance of being accepted. It doesn't take into account factors like essays and extracurriculars but it's good to get a sense of your chances. The UC's are also extremely stats based in their admissions decisions so it is extremely accurate for those. Hope this helps and good luck!
