<p>It's a little long, please read it :) I can chance you back to the best of my ability if you'd like :) I'm so paranoid!</p>

<p>I have a 3.6 UW GPA/ 4.8 Weighted. 4 APs, plus about 17 dual enrollment credits.</p>

<p>1950 on SAT- 1250 on reading/ math. Will be retaking in October, aiming for a 2000/1300.</p>

<p>Took 3 subject tests...bombed literature, got a 610 in math level 1 (weakest subject!), and 670 in Spanish. Are subject tests still required? I will retake these if they are.</p>

<p>-math, national, and science honor society; a few clubs here and there (more for senior year); cross country 2 years (possibly varsity this year); marching band 1 year.</p>

<p>I have 120 volunteer hours, by the end of the summer I should have about 200, from 2 animal shelters, a cat network, and a hospital, plus some extras.</p>

U of Wisconsin- Madison
U of Minnesota- Twin Cities
U of Texas- Austin

<p>I am so paranoid! If you think I have no chance, do you have any suggestions for schools in NYC? I would like to stay within 30 minutes of the city.</p>

<p>I plan to go into Biology (pre-vet). I'm also Hispanic. I was on Principal's honor roll 3 times.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty decent shot at all of them, but none are slam dunks. The hispanic part will help, so my guess is you will at least get into 2 or 3 of the above 5!</p>

<p>I bombed lit too :(. You look alright for your most publics, but it may be hard for some depending on where you live. A higher sat score will definitely help you for NYU, but none are high reaches. Send subject tests without lit and raise sat and you look like a strong candidate!</p>

<p>I think you’re universities are all good matches but to secure NYU raise your SAT a little bit.Some leadership activities will help out a lot. You have a plus with your ethnicity! Good luck, chance me back!</p>
