plz help. I wanna know if the odds are with me:

GPA: 4.32
SAT: 2080
SAT2:
Physics--> 750
Math II --> 800
ACT: just took it today, but I nailed it!
Sports: 1 year-Varsity football. 2 years JV track and Field (Long Distance).
Awards: Lifetime CSF, three outstanding students from 3 classes im in.
Extras: Prez of French club (3 yrs), 2 year member of Chess and War games and Octagon club. Peer Tutor (107 community hours). 6-year player of Piano. Part time job. Brown Belt and 4 year member of Kyokushin Karate.

lol lifetime CSF, that's nice. i don't see nothing out of the ordinary.

Also, I have a feeling that you are an asian male, in which case you will be in an extremely competitive applicant pool.

nope! white (French-American)

Oh ok. I think your chances are decent. Like staticsoliloquy said, nothing spectacular on your resum

being white or asian never helps at schools like stanford.

inuendo was saying that if he was an asian male he fit the stereotpe- high math and pysics scores etc. and that a lot of v. smart people are applying with similar stats.

Your chance is small. Stanford receives thousands of applications with SAT's and EC"s better than yours and rejects almost all of them. Raise the SAT 150 points and apply SCEA and see what happens.

make sure your essays really stand out. make sure you convey your passion for stanford/activities/academics/whatever. if you don't have a hook, make your essays your hook. make yourself stand out.

it's standard advice for any applicant, but it can't be stressed enough.

good luck, dude.
