Hey everyone I'm new...

<p>Anyone want to tell me if I can get into Duke? (is it called chancing here?)</p>

<p>Other colleges I'm applying to: Northwestern, JHU, Penn, Carnegie, Cornell, Rice, UMich, Georgetown, Washington University at St. Louis, University of Chicago, Emory, UC Berkeley and LA.</p>

<p>Do I have any chance?</p>

<p>I think you have about an average chance. Your gpa is very good, and it looks like your extra curriculars are numerous and you have put a lot of time into them. However, your SAT scores are a bit low for Duke. Did you take the ACT? Make sure your essays convey that you would be a good fit for Duke. Also, what major are you thinking about? Where are you from?</p>

<p>Im from NY and yeah my essay is very good in my opinion and my major is going to be engineering.</p>
