<p>Just thought I would inform you that florida legislature just passed a new bill where not all transfers from a community college and/or a normal university are "gauranteed" a spot at another university that they desire.</p>
<p>For example if you went to a community college got 60 credits and your AA w/ a 3.75. UF could deny you where usually they would accept you. This new bill will boost the average gpa that gets accepted.</p>
<p>Just so you guys know, this isn't UF who made the decision to cut transfer enrollment. It was the governing board for the State University System. It's call the Board of Governors.</p>
<p>These Higher Education Policy leaders made this decision because the legislature isn't supporting the universities in the capacity that they should.</p>
