^^man, that is so good. lol. how was WTP? i had applied to it, but i was rejected...i guess i wasn't "competitive" enough.

^^aaahhh, it was such a good experience, definitely pushed me into applying to MIT EA. Because I realized fully that MIT=awesome. Plus I learned a lot about engineering and computer sci (I was in the EECS track) that I couldn't have learned at home because my high school sucks. And getting to stay for a month with other nerdy girls was amazing.

You could've been 'overqualified', I know they didn't accept kids who already knew a lot about engineering.

oooo i almost did wtp (applied for eecs but got into me?).. but i went to a free program (not rsi) instead :/
my parents made me.. but it was still awesome so... yay money? :P

nah, I don't think i was overqualified. I nearly have no engineering experience, but I guess I well...did..check a lot of things they were going to teach. hahahha.
but hey, anyway, I did get to go to Harvard-MIT over the summer. =D So it all works out in the end.

ouchh this thread is so bad for my self-esteem...

how come everyone has done research. sobs

^^^awww, prime235. U don't need to do research to get into MIT. I know quite some of ppl who never did research and still got into MIT.

^^^ True True, man.
