And to clarify: I'm a 17 year old in Senior year of a High School in Illinois. Dumby</p>

<p>I say you have a better than average chance. Make sure to indicate a good emphasis on your passion (music?) .</p>

<p>thanxxx...but I like science and english (note the whole poetry, story, science team, researching, and medalling thing) lol thanks tho</p>

<p>anyone else getting a very weird feeling from this post?
(sry being a lil cynical and mean here)
1. the age lying was weird
2. you'd think someone with that kind of stats and reading the rest of the chances thread can give himself a pretty good measurement of where he stands.
3. what are you HONESTly expecting from the replies ?</p>

<p>Is this guy a poser or what? heres a copy paste from his other post this june:</p>

<p>hey, I'm a Chinese Male in Junior High
This year, we had three people(each) from our school district get accepted to Harvard U, Yale, Julliard, Princeton, Columbia, Stanford, and MIT. I am looking to apply to those schools too, when the time comes but I want some hints as to what I should be doing starting my Freshman year of HIgh School. These are the courses I know I have for freshman year:
english H
AP Global History
Math 2H
Science Bio H
Spanish2 (I'm thinking of changing to French 2 or 3)
Studio in Art
Orchestra
Gym</p>

<p>For E.C.'s I am joining:
Youth Leadership Group
Debate team
Science Olympiad
Math club
Art Club
(Maybe track**)
The school newspaper
School magazine
Captain's council.
Jazz ensemble</p>

<p>Outside E.C.'s include:
Violin
Piano(for three years, currently in Level 5 our of 6 levels)
Art
Summer studies at CTY from JHU
Taking college courses</p>

<p>So you wanted to join science olympiad as a new EC just this june, and by now you have won "many" awards?</p>

<p>if u look at my other threads, u'll notice that I do chances for many ppl. I post my password and my cc snrname to other ppl who in turn give me their stats. I've also done the same for a cuz and sis.lol ok. Bye bye. these are my stats. The junior high ones belong to Alfie, he's in a pretty good High school now. I met him through CTy two years ago. we both took Psyc at a CTy site</p>

<p>ok dokey
bye</p>

<p>Your sister is a male?</p>

<p>kiria, this post IS weird, and all the webspeak makes me feel empty.</p>

<p>...o.o; I agree with the weirdness. Especially the National Merit thing. We don't find out Finalist status until February...</p>

<p>and you'd only consider Science Olympiad medals "boring" if they were only regional level or so, since Illinois is fairly competitive at the state level...</p>

<p>Can we say, "overactive imagination"?</p>

<p>Such a shame to the Chinese population...</p>

<p>drinkingmilkalldaylong: well, he didn't specifically say Chinese, just Asian. Maybe we can hope he's not Chinese...</p>

<p>"parents force me to apply to..."</p>

<p>and then...</p>

<p>"Live in home with single-mother"</p>

<p>?</p>
