cool anyone else

thanks guys for the chance:)

anyone ???

Good stats for all your schools except stanford.

unfortunately I don’t think you are competitive enough for their high academic standards!

good luck

thanks for the chance

good chances at UCS and USC.
stanford is a crapshoot for everyone, however, i wouldn’t be surprised if you got in

good luck!

thanks for the chance i know stanford and brown are a reach!!!

anyone else

USC, UC-Berkely, and UCLA, are low reaches but it will depend on your ACT/SAT scores.

otherwise the others are matches.

thanks for the chance

Thanks for the chance.

Wow! Your stats are pretty good, all things considered. Since you’ve started a few clubs, stayed involved in your school and community, and done some self-improvement stuff (i.e. learning extra languages despite the fact that you already speak three), I think that you’ll have a pretty good shot at most of your schools, Stanford excluded.

Well, here’s what I think on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest:

UC Berkley: 5.5
UCLA: 5
USCD: 6
UCI: 7
UCSC: 7
UCR: 10
Stanford: 4

Merry Christmas!

[Chance a scatterbrained, worried fool for schools with traditionally low admissions rates…](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/827713-chance-aa-female-georgetown-american-howard-hamptons-uchicago-others.html)

You have the same chance as any other top students have.Good Luck!

thanks guys for the chance
any would like a chance back :)

I think that you have a sufficient chance, though your ACT score is imperative in your college admission process. Aside from that component, I think that you’ll get into most of the UC’s with the exception of maybe UC Berkeley or UCLA. I think that it will come down to your ACT score though.

thanks wart:)

UCB - match (im in the same exact position so for my sake and yours i hope they have a heart for good essays, i also have the same sat if you convert from ACT)
UCLA - reach
UCSD - match
UCI - match
UCSC, UCR - match

thanks futureENTsurgeon.

Stanford: high reach
All of the UC schools: match or within reason
it depends on your SAT scores more than anything
plus languages and diversity major help

Thanks for chancing me! :)

I don’t know a whole lot about the UC schools (I live on the other side of the country and the farthest the 'rents will let me apply/go is St. Louis), but I think you should be a good match for most of the UC’s, with Berkeley and UCLA being mid-reaches. Stanford is definitely a reach, but it is for most people (and I know some incredibly smart, incredibly talented and accomplished people who got deferred/rejected EA, so it really is a crapshoot).

Have you applied everywhere already? If you’re not done with your apps, you may want to consider highlighting a few ECs instead of putting all of the ones you’ve listed on there. You don’t want schools thinking that you’re spread too thin and aren’t passionate about one or a few ECs (although I’m sure this isn’t the case). You can use the “additional info” section to expand on some of the responsibilities you had in your most important ECs (since the “please expand on…” box after the list of ECs is only for one of them).

A lot depends on your ACT and SAT II scores, so I hope you did well on them! Good luck!
