Hey Guys, chance me for the College of William and Mary?

I'm a junior right now, but I've decided I'm going early decision W&M for next year, knowing that my junior grades are probably going to be pretty consistent.

Total (With A- in AP Chemistry) 3.90 4.32

Sorry that was so comprehensive, I have this file on my desktop keeping track of my grades because our school doesn't give out GPAs until your Senior year, so I've estimated based on what I know about their weighting system.

I know it may seem early, but as applications are due Nov. 1, my senior grades won't necessarily be a factor.

SAT: 2080 Math: 690 Writing: 700 Reading: 690
(Planning on a second take soon, that was my first shot without studying)

Recommendations will be amazing, with an alumni as a contributor.

Essays are decent, I'm currently workshopping the two with a great English teacher.

ECs and Awards:
Band Captain of 2012 National Champion Marching Band and two year running state champions
Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, English Honor Society
Chess Club (meh)
Talented musician on multiple instruments (school of music)
No job experience
Arranged and Produced a radio show in support of the Arts and Marching Music
Spent a summer at the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps, a collegiate-level marching music ensemble that competes in Drum Corps International.

I'm probably going to have to bump this a bit seeing as a lot of people have to.

Ha, that was an organized chart in my text block, but it collapsed the spaces. Oh well, sorry for the confusion.

Bumpity bump bump.

Bump again.

Ugh, sorry about this. Bump.

I think you have a good chance. I have several friends who got into W&M and most were similar to you.

However, you need to improve your SAT score to 2100+. Your GPA is good and your EC Band stuff is awesome (I’m in Marching Band too, my director went to W&M).

Also, if your in-state you have a much better chance. Out-of-state is harder.

Good Luck!

Thanks very much, I’m taking it again soon, and luckily I’m in state! We’ll see what happens, thanks for the feedback. Its just nerve-wracking you know?
