Hey guys, do you think I should apply to these colleges or keep my money?

I'm thinking of applying to George Mason University and Virginia Commonwealth University.

My "statistics":

GPA: 2.79.....Freshman- 2.2, Sophomore- 2.8, Junior- 3.4, Senior- 4.0, but do colleges consider senior year?...I asked my counselor and he said "No, colleges only look at freshman to junior year." :(

SAT Reasoning Test: 1760...Reading- 560, Math- 620, Writing- 580.

Extra Curricular Activities: Track, DECA, FBLA, Spanish Honor Society. I also did some volunteer work for a charity group.

Awards/Certificates: Honor Roll(A's and B's) lol, and IB certificate.

Are there any other colleges that you guys think would accept students like myself?

Yes, definitely. Get the book “Colleges that Change Lives.” Lots of schools will discount or ignore a bad freshman year, as long as you have an upward trend and can explain what went wrong and then how you got it together. Worst case scenario - a gap year so that your senior year grades are included in the GPA calculation.
