beartrack will be on sep
but will that be late for signing up classes? thanks
majoring in ecom

you sign up for classes on growl and you use http://classinfo.ucr.edu to find the classes that are available.

Hey greatness I'm a transfer to but in Bus Admin. Ok with beartracks here's the deal.

Transfers usually register later than everybody else but beartracks gives its participating transfer students a chance to enroll before all the other transfer students. So don't worry about late enrollment. As long as you go to beartracks, from what I understand you'll be ahead of the rest of the transfers that don't attend beartracks.

And you might want to consider completing your student health requirement form before beartracks. I've spoken to them and they aren't sure if they'll let you enroll without having been cleared with the health office at UCR. But there's no solid opinion on this so I'm assuming they'll be lenient. Plus the health requirement deadline is a week or two after beartracks so it doesn't make sense anyways.

As for now, do what I did. Look up your major requirements and have a list handy so when you go to enroll at beartracks, you'll know exactly what your options are in case the classes are full or nearing capacity. Although I'm sure they'll be advising you according to your major, it's always good to prepare ahead of time anyways.

hey thanks
will you attend beartrack orientation on Sep4th?

what class will you take this fall quarter?

i'm taking beartracks on the 6th. hopefully it won't be full of crap. i live far far away from riverside and getting there is going to be a pain. and if it's hot that day, then i might just show up for the signing up for classes part, and skip the rest. i'm not really down for playing stupid games and walking the entire campus, since i know the campus really well already.

i'm mainly taking business classes this fall since i'm a busadmin major. i've heard that business classes fill up really quick since they don't get enough money to pay for a lot of professors and since business is one of their most popular majors. so for me, i gotta show up to beartracks to enroll or i may fall behind academically throughout the next two years or so.

from what i'm getting, beartracks is more of a pain than a help. tons of walking in the riverside heat, a lot of pointless lectures, and basically a lot of BS that's supposed to last from 8am to 6pm. 10 hours of whatever they make you do. plus all of it is mandatory so expect to be treated like a kid. but the important things are that you get to enroll, you can get your UCR card, and you get to see fellow transfers. so if any of those are important to you, then show up, deal with it, and move on.
