Hey guys!! please chance me for transferring as a Sophomore to Georgetown, UIUC, UMD, and UPENN

I’m currently a freshman going to the School of Engineering at Rutgers and I’m trying to transfer as a sophomore for UIUC engineering, Georgetown Finance, UMD Engineering, and UPENN engineering.

HS GPA: 3.45
College GPA: 3.4 ( Deans list for RU engineering is 3.2)
ACT highest composite: 31
ACT Super score: 32
English: 28
Critical Reading: 33
Math: 34
Science: 32
Combined English/Writing: 27
I didn’t take SAT

EC: Rower for the Rutgers Heavyweight rowing team, Part of Libor (investment banking club), Part of AIAA ( robotics club at rutgers)

I also hope to continue rowing at either heavyweight or lightweight for any of these colleges.

TomSrOfBoston That was extremely rude and transferring is a totally different game than applying as a freshman. I say go for it! Try to play up your dedication and drive

@jjmmoo98 This is a chancing thread, not a “feel good” thread. Georgetown and Penn are out of reach. The OP’s secondary record and test scores are not in the range for those schools. One year of college even with a high GPA will not get transfer admission to elite schools.

what about UMD and UIUC?
