Hey guys! can anyone chance me please? I know my ECs aren't impresive, I haven't discovered the cure for cancer or built a nuclear reactor in my basement, but still, I would appreciate any advice!
ECs:
School newspaper
Director of school play
Female school team
Basketball (5 years)
classic guitar (6 years)
debating society
choir ( 4 years)
economics club
young enterprise (basicaly, the group starts a company)
Volunteer for 1 year, have 200+ hours, although Im probably going this summer to help somewhere, haven't decided yet...

I know they're vague, but my school and country (Spain) doesn't really offer awards or international recognition stuff :(
I got As on everything and I still haven't taken my SAT, but plan on getting a 2200+ :)
I'm Spanish, so Im applying as an international student. I've travelled a lot; lived in Switzerland, Greece and Israel.
Any advice on how to boost my chances? Have I got any with this or do I need more?
Thanks in advace! :)

I think it would help if you somehow make yourself seem more different by emphasizing your international experiences - Harvard likes kids from all across the world from unique and interesting backgrounds. Your ECs definitely need work, but I don’t really know how since I’m not from Spain and have no idea how the system works. Overall, just make sure you STAND OUT. Harvard is one of the most randomest selective schools in ivy.

Thank you! I actually worked a bit on the ECs, Im the director of the school play and co-founder of the drama club. Im also doing the model European Parliament. I really don’t know how to work on them anymore, its really hard to get things done here! I joined the Spanish Red Cross, and Im currently an active volunteer, what I don’t know how to do is show my international background. Any ideas anyone? Thanks! :)

Hey! Just saying, Harvard wants to see unique people, and unique in a way that makes it want you. Did you meet anyone in particular in your volunteer experience that made an impact on you? (Don’t think too deeply, otherwise the impact isnt large enough)? Or maybe talk about the particulars of the Spanish Red Cross (how its different from the International Red Cross and all other national chapters)? Just some ideas :P
