Hey guys, what do you think?

Hey,
I'm an intl. student applying from Germany. I graduated in june this year from a local public highschool. It is the most competitive in my region though.

These are the schools i'm applying to: Upenn (College), Johns Hopkins, Georgetown (Mc Donough), U of Notre Dame (Mendoza), Emory, Northwestern

And here are my stats:

Testing:
SAT I : 3rd attempt 1390 --> 700v 690m
SAT II's: Math Ic, Math IIc, Writing
Not yet taken, but expect to be also around 700
TOEFL: 283; Essay: 6.0

Other:
GPA: German Abitur; 1.9 on a weird 1.0 - 4.0 scale (anything below 4.0 is failed)
rank: top 10%
hardest courseload possible; I was enrolled in a bilingual (German/English) education program

Recs: Teacher1: Excellent
Teacher2: Excellent
Counselor: very good
Current employer: Excellent
Employer in summer 2003 (internship in Romania): very good
Peer evaluation/recommendation: 2 excellent ones

Essays: 1 excellent
rest decent to very good

EC's + leadership:
12 years of soccer, captain of the club-team 1999 - 2002, captain of the schoolteam 2000 - 2004,
teamleader of school's team participating in the "stock market game" 2003,
helped organizing (at out school) and participated in the nationwide debating project "Youth debating" 2003 + 2004, in 2004 acted as a juror (the ones who evaluate the speakers' performances)
Board member of the Young Liberals Aachen 2002 - present (political youth organization officially acknowledged by the FDP (liberals in German government)),
Treasurer of the Liberal Students Aachen and region 2003,
founded (with two others) a MUN-club 2003, participated with an official delegation from our club at a conference at the International University in Bremen

community service + volunteering:
in summer 2002 + 2004 helped out at a organization in Bucharest, Romania, that helps homeless children (and there are PLENTY of them over there!), eg. arranges for them to find shelter, organizes meals, no-drug campaigns etc.

refused to serve in the military; instead I subscribed for 9 months of community service at a local hospital. (41 hrs a week) since september 1st

Hook: Parents are Romanian immigrants, trilingual education (Romanian, German, English) + almost fluent in French, don't apply for financial aid

Though, I am not sure whether these are real hooks.

So, if you're not bothered by the long text, I'd really appreciate any answers/evaluations etc..
Do you think I have a realistic chance? (SAT I hurts)

best,

Nicho
