<p>I have 1500 sat score and average marks in school in the following subjects
English 4years
Math 4years
Social studies ( history,civics,geography and econ ) 2years
science (chem,physics) 4 years with lab
computer science or it 2years+2years </p>
<p>I have extracurricular activities like guitar , basketball , swimming etc these are not offered by my school so I took individual classes but i don't have any certificate to prove it </p>
<p>I would also like to know if I improve my sat scores and get good scores in the first year of the collage will I get into a good university like uiuc or georgia tech ?? </p>

If you improve your scores, you can try to get some of the easy “automatic for stats” scholarships. Look at the pinned threads at the top of the financial aid forum.</p>

<p>You arent likely going to get into the CS programs at schools that admit by major. Those schools often want Math scores to be 700+ (or at least 650).</p>
<p>I would imagine that UIUC and GT will not admit a CS major with a 580 because the concern would be that youw wont get thru all the req’d math.</p>
