mm... when's ur b-day? i was 13 only a few weeks ago.
oh here's a article i found for ya, jonathan.
What would you pay for the perfect SAT score? $500? $2000? $35,000? How about fifty grand? At The Philips Andover Academy, the oldest private boarding school in the country, 1070 students are recipients to a handsome $622 million endowment and live on a campus complete with two museums and eighteen sports fields. With such luxuries, it's little wonder that each student pays an annual tuition of $50,000 to $60,000. For what it's worth though, this 4-year Massachusetts high school has sent 75 seniors to Harvard, 65 to Yale, and 57 to Cornell from 2000 to 2004. Students boast an average composite SAT score of 1378. Its highly selective admissions rate of 21% also makes you wonder how a less-than-average student by the name of George Walker Bush could've crept his way into the Class of 1964.

Andover's acclaimed rival, the equally prestigious (and similarly named) Exeter Academy holds a higher SAT composite score at 1391: 693 verbal and 698 math, all at a going rate of $33,000 per year for boarders and $25,500 for day students. Furthermore, financial aid is available ranging from $2,700 to full rides and is distributed amongst its 1050-member student body. It would appear obvious that Exeter is the rational option over Andover despite the latter's sparkling alumnus record.

The Lawrenceville School of New Jersey, located a mere five miles from Princeton University, was founded in 1810 and from early on, attracted international students from countries such as Cuba, England, and the Choctaw Nations. Its numbers are comparable to Exeter's in terms of tuition and SAT scores. However, no merit-based scholarships are given to ease the $34,570 boarding school fee and the $28,180 day school fee. Its 807 students earn an SAT mean of 1360.

Here in America's heartland, the 4-year Lake Forest Academy with a student enrollment of 370 has a rather unimpressive SAT average of 1227 with expenses climbing from $22,550 to $31,950. On the other hand, its 53% acceptance rate offers a realistic opportunity to enroll at a boarding school, a trend that has obtained a relatively meager 2.7% rise in the United States over the last decade.

Humbly last but certainly not least, we have IMSA. As a full-time, 3-year, public boarding school with 650 students, this 菟ioneering educational community・has fostered an environment based on something deeper, more profound than raw standardized test scores, which is not to accuse the other schools of otherwise. Nonetheless, it is still wickedly satisfying that we hold a 703 SAT average for math (take that, you east-coast preps) and respectable 667 verbal score. For all you whizzes out there, that is a composite score of 1370. Tuition here is exponentially lower because aid from the Illinois government allows parents to pay $500 to $2000 per year based on individual family incomes. Judging from the raw data, I am convinced that each student here is getting his or her buck's worth of ABCs. I am sincerely impressed by the quality of education and standards that we have nurtured in our very own Auroran cornfields. I, for one, would pass on paying $50,000 a year to attend Andover- even if that meant sacrificing the opportunity to graduate alongside likes of George W. Bush.

Thank you, Kay. That was very helpful. If you find any more articles, please let me know. :)
