HEY I Have a couple questions I need answered Thanx !

I will be transferring from community college to either CSULB, CSUF, CSUN, CPP, CSULA, SDSU, or CSUSB.
I am going to apply this Oct 1 2015 for Fall 2016

My gpa is 3.4 is that good or bad ?

I have finished general requirements and will be done with major requirements this Fall 2015
kinda odd would you recommend me taking classes at my community college during Spring 2016 even though I’m done with everything? Would it look bad not going to school in the Spring or not?

Will I get accepted to my top three schools (they are CSULB, CSUF, & CSUN) ?

My major is Business Marketing

I will be finishing two associates one is A.A in Admin & Info Systems the second is A.S in Math and Science

I am from the Inland empire (riverside- corona area)

Are you (reading this right now) from out of area (not considered local) and have a gpa close to mine and gotten accepted to any these schools ?

ALSO, does volunteer work look good on a CSU application ? Does volunteer work at a hospital or library look good ?

  1. Best chances to transfer to SDSU is to attend a few semesters at a local San Diego CC since priority is given to these students. SDSU is a tough admit.
  2. Your GPA is within range, but SDSU’s business majors are very competitive. I would check the SDSU transfer thread for this year to see what are some of the GPA’s of accepted transfer students.

  1. EC’s as a transfer should be major related. If you are doing some volunteer work in regards to marketing, that should be fine.
