the only reason im thnking about it is that i heard that top schools such as harvard love qualified urm applicants so im thinking maybe i have a shot with my unique background. anyway tell me if its reasonabl

bump =)10char

just to be technical about this... basically, almost everybody's stats on these "Harvard chances" posts are enough for Harvard.

However, regardless of what you do (ECs, grades, SATs, etc), in the end, it all comes down to how you PRESENT yourself through your application to the committee. Thus, short of showing us all your essays and everything you write on your application, there is really no point in reviewing mere factual information.

In other words, instead of taking 30 mins to POST all your accomplishments, i think it would be more beneficial to work on how you should present these accomplishments in your file, or even working on improving them.

.... but that's just my opinion.

i understand...thanks.

hope that last post was not to harsh ^^;;

wishing you the best of luck in the future...

As far as presentation, I highly recommend "Acing the College Application" by That Hernandez Woman. Her activity sheet format is great and she really holds your hand through every last section of the Common App. Worked for me!

thanks man...and no that post wasnt harsh...just realistic...im hoping my writing skill will be enough to pull through on the app
