Hey SFS people

ah for real zephyr, i wrote about the problems with government in Iran basically, and the need for the international community to closely watch elections there and elsewhere.

i wrote about the need for Britain to allign itself with the EU to a greater extent, thus creating a stronger EU and redressing the balance of world power at a time when the united states reigns supreme and unchecked as the world's only superpower...phew

I wrote about the ramifications of the kyoto protocol without US ratification, it worked for me.

I wrote about the need for student's throughout the world to be educated in the field of international studies, and suggested a means of using technology to establish pen pal systems that would connect students across continents

I wrote about international copyright law (or the lack thereof). Deferred EA.

What are my chances of getting into SFS versus the College?

lol i just realized i don't know what SFS's acceptance rate is

lol it's around 19-21%

oh really? i thought it was lower. that's great!

i wrote about germs

i like your topic blu....i think it is very different and prolly will help you alot more than more generic problems. Good luck!

ohhh, thank you! and here i was, thinking that i seemed mentally disabled person, blathering on about how ignorance has swollen to epidemic proportions as much as obesity, no pun intended :)

but hey. that's the kind of person i am, and if that's what they want, they'll take me. if not, ain't no thang. lol. i'm so white.

mine was about crimes against humanity and World Court.

lol. did that choice have anything to do with the debate topic?

i don't get it

nvm, sorry, i was thinking of something else. my mistake.

no really, what?

I did the Sudanese genocide, as well.

annnnd, I didn't get in either. With Sudanese genocide and all...

I wrote about the technological divide between developed and developing countries, and the need to bridge this gap before 3rd world countries are unable to recover.

i had a pretty catchy intro talking about the Tsunami
and how people had died

and then said that a metaphorical tsunami had hit darfur and went into the whole darfur genocide etc

i wrote it saying that i thought the peace would break soon and it did two weeks after i sent my app...maybe that will count for something

omg omg..i'll find out today! lol going to call admissions office (if they're open on saturdays)
